"What is that amazing stone?" I hear you ask.
With light to medium dark purple colours and pretty swirling patterns, Charoite is one of the few gemstones so distinctive that it can be easily identified. It was first discovered in the 1940s in the Chara River area in the Sakha Republic, Russia, and to this day is the only place it has been found. As with so many gemstones, the richer and more saturated the colour the more desirable the stone and this beautiful stone is no exception!
Charoite is said to be helpful with the relieving of stress, and by allowing the release of stress and worry, it can bring about calm and restful feelings.
